The worship atmosphere is a casual and friendly environment. You will be greeted by a warm and friendly face. Acceptable attire is anything from shorts or jeans to a full suit. Our concern is not what you look like or what you believe. We prefer you come comfortable and ready to encounter our risen Lord Jesus Christ.
Both services include a time of welcome and announcements, prayers, scripture, a message, and music. Holy Communion is typically offered in both services on the first Sunday of each month. A more traditional service, featuring hymns and an adult choir, is at 9:00 a.m. A blended (contemporary) service is at 11:00 a.m. and offers a praise band and worship music/choruses. Be sure to visit both services to see where you feel most at home.
On rare occasions, we have only one “combined” service of worship at 10:00 a.m. for a special occasion. Please check our website or Facebook page before your visit to make sure if your first visit is on one of those days that you arrive at the appropriate time!
First Farragut United Methodist Church is less formal than many churches. You may see casual, khakis or jeans, or sport coats and dresses.

First Farragut United Methodist Church celebrates an “open” table. All who wish to receive the sacrament are invited to do so, regardless of denominational affiliation or church membership. Gluten-free elements are available on the altar for those who need it. We also welcome children to participate.
We are dedicated to a partnership with parents to lead their children in the exploration of Christian faith. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where all children are introduced to God and His love for them, laying the foundation to help them build their own relationship with him.
